- Pennsylvania accredits asbestos occupations — worker, supervisor, inspector and project designer — under 25 Pa. Code Chapter 246. Accreditation is training-based and renewable annually.
- OSHA respiratory protection requires medical clearance and annual fit testing before you can wear a respirator on a job.
- Most industrial and federal sites require site-specific safety orientation, and many require a background check before badging.
- Field work is scheduled around the client's building, so night and weekend shifts are part of the trade.
