Industrial Site Remediation
Multi-phase cleanup of contaminated industrial property, from characterisation through closure.
Industrial site work is rarely one problem. A generating station, a plant or a former institutional campus will hold asbestos, lead, PCBs, impacted soil and abandoned waste at the same time, on a schedule set by a sale, a redevelopment or a regulator. The work is as much sequencing and documentation as it is removal.

Build the picture from existing assessments and fill the gaps, so the scope reflects the site rather than an assumption about it.

Planning and sequencing
Order the work so that each phase does not re-contaminate the last, and so the site stays operable where it has to.

Abatement and removal
Hazardous material abatement, impacted media removal, and structure preparation ahead of demolition or redevelopment.

Disposal
Segregated waste streams, characterised and manifested to permitted facilities.

Closure documentation
The record set the owner, the buyer and the regulator will each want to see, assembled while the work is happening rather than after.

- State cleanup programs govern closure — in Pennsylvania, Act 2 sets the standards and the liability relief that follows them.
- RCRA and TSCA apply to the waste streams generated.
- Site-specific health and safety planning under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER) applies to most of this work.
